This Opuntia relative is a compact, clump-former from Patagonia. We would rate it at Zone 4. The delicate, bronzy orange flowers in June are "other-worldly"! Spherical "pads" are heavily armored with broad spines and are fragile (come apart easily). Try growing it in morning sun or in partial sun. Give it some water in the winter if it is extremely dry. 4"H X 15"W.  Sold as rooted, 2.5" pot.
