A favorite here in Denver.  Gorgeous, coral-pink flowers in June.  An unusual color among Opuntias.  The low-carpeting habit makes it an excellent landscape variety.  The stunning golden spines shimmer in the winter sun making it an excellent variety for year round beauty.  8 inches high x 36 inches wide.  Zone 4.  This plant was unscathed in our 2009 relentless hailstorm.  We lost most other varieties.  Sold as a rooted pad in 2.5" Pots.
