NEW. The Anasazi Cholla is a rare, naturally occurring hybrid found only in southwestern Colorado and in adjacent states along the Colorado border (NM, AZ, UT). The natural plants tend to be sterile crosses between C. imbricata and C. whipplei. Flowers range in the colors of rose, pink, apricot, yellow, and bicolors.
Our clone was attained from Mikl Brauner, who grows it in his garden at his nursery, Harlequin's Gardens in Boulder, CO.
This Anasazi Cholla has warm pink flowers. The open, airy form grows to 3 feet tall and 6 feet wide. Hardy to zone 4. Sold in 2.5-inch pots.
